Cable Cars Obertauern

Obertauern is one of the most snow-assured ski areas in the Alps. For you that means - perfect piste conditions from the end of November until the start of May. In the midst of the fantastic mountains of Salzburger Land, at between 1630 and 2313 metres, 1 cabin cable car, 17 chair lifts, 2 combi chair/cabin cable cars and 6 T-bar lifts await you. Some 100 kilometres of dreamy ski pistes and 31 kilometres of cross-country slopes.

Since the 2012 / 2013 winter season the Obertauern ski pass which, for the 1 ½ day and over pass, is also valid in the Grosseck - Speiereck ski area in Mauterndorf, some 15 kilometres away. For guests who have ski equipment the Obertauern ski pass is also your ski bus ticket (ski bus permissions for groups and ski passes for school groups only available for a surcharge). The free ski buses operate every hour in both directions. Are you looking for freedom and adventure? On and off the pistes?
